The second newest class is the Final Fantasy XI Corsair. Using their unique ability and passion of games to help them, they can defeat foes in combat. Using abilities such as “Phantom Roll” and “Quick Draw” they can use dice and cards for powers that haven’t been seen. They can be easily compared to setzer in Final Fantasy 6. They use dice, poker cards, and a variety of gambling related weapons to kill their foes in the game.

I found this out myself about a month ago and I
thought I would share it with you guys^^
There is a quest in Tavnazian Safehold, given to you by Justinius, where you
have to go to Monarch Linn and fight a number of mammets(depending on the
number of people entering the battlefield) for a reward.
The reward is random from the following items:
Adaman Ore
Aluminum Ore
Armoire
Bison Steak
Bream Risotto
Cloud Evoker
Mannequin Body
Mannequin Legs
Miratete's Memoirs(exp scroll)
Mushroom Risotto
Orchalcum Ore
Oversized Fang
Tiger Eye
Unicorn Horn
The item he gives you is usually random, but there is a way to get around
this
What you have to do is, when you go to talk to him again after killing the
mammets make sure your inventory is full.
He will offer you one of the items, if it is the item you want, sort your
inventory so you have a slot free and talk to him again and he will give you
the item.
If it isnt the item you want, with your inventory still full, talk to him
again. He will offer you another item, if you want that item, sort your
inventory and talk to him again.
You can keep repeating this until he offers the item you want ^^
